Letter: Rotary Club collects thousands of pairs of shoes for the needy NorthJersey.com On Nov. 9, slightly more than 10,180 pairs of new and gently used shoes were picked up at a staging location here in Ridgewood, and are now on a new journey to be worn by individuals who desperately need something as simple as a pair of shoes.
